E-Z Valve
The newest item for the water industry is the addition of the EZ-Valve insertion system. This technology is brought to us by the original manufactures of the Hydro-Stop Line stopping Equipment. We are proud to be one of New Jersey’s certified installers serving all of New Jersey, Staten Island, and New York. Our installers have all been trained in the proper installation of valves 4”thru 12”. The EZ-Valve insertion is a true resilient wedge, ductile iron gate valve. The valve can be installed on all cast iron, ductile iron, PVC C-900 and ACP-Transite Classes 150 and 100. Installation times can vary but are between 1 ½ Hr. to 2 ½ Hrs. On-site excavations and utility services can be performed by your company or subcontracted to our firm. Larger sizes of the EZ-Valve are up coming from 14” thru 24” and will be available as soon as they are released. We carry a full line of over sized valves for the most uncommon pipe diameters
EZ-Valve in most cases will save on traditional line stopping methods for direct valve installations. One excavation is needed with no thrust restraint on the installed pipeline. There is also no shutdown needed for the valve installation. You may install a valve during prime working hours with no effect on the street, building, or plant in which you are working on. This is essential on medical buildings, hospitals, or other types of service buildings that must keep water supply active during the valve installation. Also no metal or rust chips will enter the service line with this method due to the fact that all cuttings are rinsed thru an external discharge hose, eliminating clogged, dirty fixtures or valves inside the building.
